Need a Sugary Treat?

Are you finding that you are craving sweet things even more since you started your diet? Do you need a sugary treat, but don't want to sabotage your weight loss? A quick fix for a sugar urge is a piece of kid's bubble gum. People often recommend gum when dieting. Chewing gum can satisfy a persons need to snack and in turn help cut a lot of calories from a person's diet. The minty flavors of adult gums may help for awhile, yet they don't starve off the sugar craving as well.

Ranging from 5 calories for sugar free to around 25 for regular, this low cal treat can save you many calories compared to that fun sized candy bar at 72 calories. Many of us don't stop at 1 fun sized bar, either. Even that 100 calorie snack is 100 calories. Just getting rid of 100 calories a day equals 10 pounds in a year. For even more of a sugary rush, try one of the cry baby or sweet and sour gums on the market. They will give you a tart treat that is sure to hold off that sugar craving. Face it, most of us are looking for that extra edge that will help us not overindulge in that treat we seem to always want. Put a pack of kid's gum in your desk at work; there are many different types to choose from; chew for a few minutes and the urge will pass.
